This morning I registered for the Carlsbad Half Marathon. BFF thought it would be fun and recruited me and Mr. America (new name for Hubby....more later on WHY***).

During registration, it asks you to estimate how LONG it will take you to run it. I, being the slowest runner on the planet (IF you can even call it "running") opted for the longest possible selection, 3 hrs +. BFF and Mr. A think they can do it around 2 hrs 15 mins or so. Aren't they speedy!? Guess I will have a cheering section when I drag my...eh...myself across the finish line.
Then suddenly I realized....OMG.....I will turn 40 exactly 3 days before. So....how fast will I be when I am 40?
Mr. A says "Welcome to the OMG Club"
Uggg!
***WHY? Because he is an All American, baseball-loving, hot dog-eating guy!

Yay! Im excited that both you and BBD (aka, Mr. America) are signed up. It will be fun! Its a nice FLAT course. I will introduce you to Holly...another friend who is also running and is also part of the slowest runner's on the planet club. :)
Okkkkk....so now I am officially part of TWO clubs...Slowest Runners on the Planet and the OMG Club. Soon, I will be a member of The Protected Groups club (whole 'nother post on harrassment training at work!)

OK, you are officially my idol! And I can say that because you are older than me (hah, ok, maybe only be a few months...). There aren't enough sports bras in the world for me to run a 5K 10K or any other kind of k!
HA! Kathy! Well...I so *wish* that were my problem. I could probably run an ENTIRE marathon without a bra at all!!! :P
Maybe I should blog about that obsession some day.....
